We have been staying for a few days in a beautiful country house, the Casa Grande de Rosende, and it was actually Yannis V. who directed my attention to this exotic species, which however seemed very well acclimatized in Gallicia.

On the first picture Papaver rhoeas in front of the southern colonnade of the Tetragonos Agora in Ephesus. During this part of my trip I was alone, but just the day before we have visited Mylassa and Knidos with Olga, Despina and Beryl.

This a parasitic plant (epiphyt) and on the second picture one may observe that it grows on a Thapsia garganica plant. It belongs to the familly Orobanchaceae, but I am not quite sure about the taxa (any help is wellcome).
